Privacy, security and data retention

Privacy and security

  • Encryption: all media flows over WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP. Chat and account data are encrypted at rest in Supabase.
  • Self-hosted media: LiveKit runs on our own Hetzner servers — audio and video never touch a third-party cloud SFU.
  • No recording, no transcription: MobiNow does not record meetings or generate transcripts. Audio is forgotten the moment a call ends.
  • Data residency: Supabase (auth + chat) is hosted in the EU.
  • Third parties: Supabase (auth/DB), self-hosted LiveKit (SFU), Firebase (push notifications), Sentry (error tracking), PostHog (anonymised product analytics).
