Troubleshooting a broken meeting

Microphone not working, black screen, poor quality or weird echo — a quick diagnosis guide.

Troubleshooting

Nobody can hear me

  • Check the microphone icon is active in the control bar.
  • Make sure the browser has microphone permission (the lock icon next to the URL).
  • Try toggling AI noise suppression off in the control bar — on rare devices it conflicts with specific mic drivers.

Video is black or frozen

  • Refresh the tab. MobiNow will rejoin your session automatically.
  • Close any other app that might be using the camera (Zoom, Teams, OBS).

Poor quality

  • Move closer to your router or switch from Wi-Fi to Ethernet.
  • Drop to a voice room if video isn't essential — it uses a fraction of the bandwidth.
